June 16 2019 Wasco Reserve held off the Tucson Saguaros 4-3 after scoring the go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Wasco finished with seven hits and no errors while Tucson collected eight hits and committed one error.
Tucson took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but Wasco answered with two runs in the fourth and added another in the sixth. The Saguaros tied the game with two runs in the seventh before Wasco scored once in the bottom half to regain the lead. Austin Hoffman led Wasco with two hits, two runs and an RBI, including his third home run of the season. Evan Hirschbaum also had two hits, while Alex Hernandez drove in a run. Tucson received two hits and two RBIs from Patrick Clifford, who tripled, and Evan Douglas added a home run and an RBI.
Konosuke Kawagishi earned the win after allowing one hit and one walk over 1.1 scoreless innings. Mitchell Langer recorded the save with a scoreless ninth inning. Alex Hernandez started for Wasco and allowed three runs on seven hits with four walks and two strikeouts over 6.2 innings. Tucson starter Will Morris took the loss despite striking out 11 in seven innings; he allowed four runs, three earned, on seven hits with one walk.
