July 24 2022 The Santa Rosa Scuba Divers defeated Wasco Reserve 27-4 at Sam Lynn Park, collecting 26 hits in the offensive outburst. Santa Rosa scored in six innings, including 11 runs in the fifth and five runs in both the seventh and eighth. Wasco scored twice in the fourth and twice in the seventh while finishing with 10 hits and 10 errors.
Sean Holt led Santa Rosa at the plate, going 5-for-6 with five runs, eight RBI, a home run, a double and a triple. Dontavious Dickey added three hits, four runs, five RBI and two home runs, while Christopher Procopio went 5-for-7 with three runs and four RBI. Eric Kozak had three hits, two runs and two RBI, and Joshua Smith collected two hits and two runs.
Holt also earned the win after allowing nine hits and four earned runs in seven innings with seven strikeouts and no walks. Dickey followed with two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out two. Wasco starter Christian Thorpe took the loss after working all nine innings and surrendering 26 hits and 27 runs, including 16 earned, with seven walks and five strikeouts. Ike Horn hit a two-run home run for Wasco, while Mario Ramsey drove in the teams other run.
